The meaning of this stones name relates to the location where it was first found, in the Sinai Peninsula in Israel, near a place called Eilat. These wonderful stones have been found in the copper mines, that have existed in that location since the Bronze age, and were mined under the supervision of King Solomon. Their vibration does relate to the highly spiritual energy at this location, and their strong deep colors are very beautiful.
